ran a rt stratus saturday night and was a really good race. i have a 05 mtx. when we launch off the line that was the last time i seen him until i was in the middle of fourth gear the neons aren't slow as i thought they were. the only mod that i have is a custom exhaust, full boar. the only thing i didnt like about the race is that i had the lead for so long until the middle of fourth gear the high rpms suck a whole lot. i wanted to know what performance part would increase the horsepower at higher rpms and higher speed without loosing torque. because my takeoff is a beast.

to get top end power without turbo, get long tube header, udp, highflowcat,

 

Other than a turbo, an ugraded cam w/ valve springs etc. will do the job. Getting an upgraded PCM will help even more.
