Default testing MAP sensor

How do you test a map sensor? It's not in my Haynes manual.
I can't find anything under search Map sensor.

Use a OBD scan tool. You can either spring for one of the $200+ scanners, or just buy a bluetooth OBD scanner from eBay, and then connect to it via an Android or PC to look for the PID.

Also, I think AutoZone has a scanner that can read the MAP, and either they can do it for you, or you can rent the tool.

I've never personally seen a map sensor fail. You should be able to monitor a PID with a scan tool.
