can anyone tell me the best plugs and wires to use on my 04 sxt? i have had a few people tell me to use ngk iridiums or good quality champions for the plugs and msd for the wires. anybody else have a suggestion?

 

I've got the same car and i finally found a set-up I like,SCREAMIN DEMON COIL,MAGNACORE wires and BOSCH+4's, I do have the NGK IRIDIUMs,but the car felt better w/ the +4's.Only u will know what makes your car smile, just stay with the good name brands, and if something sound's too good to be true, stay away from it.Good luck. the DOC.

 

Some have reported OK results with the +4 but even Bosch does not recomend them for DIS ignition. So if you are to use platinum plugs then get Double Platinum or just use Copper Core. The Iridium should be fine as well. But If you want nice(Better than stock) wires then probably MSD or Magnacore would be fine.

If you dont mind changing plugs Champions are fine not great but just fine. Otherwise a lot of people are using NGK standard V-Power plugs.

 

I have used both the champion and ngk plugs. so far i have found that the ngk's work the best and they tend to last longer than the other ones. Hopefully that may help your decision.
