Exclamation A/C

05 SXT . I noticed a few months back that the discharge hose at crimp next to comp seems to be wet with oil. So i pushed a little on low port and nothing. Then did the same to high port and got a hiss . Is that possible? I thought with a leak there would be no pressure either side. What to do?

Sounds like you have a leak at the discharge hose.
When the AC is off, and without the compressor is running/compressing, the pressures in both side will become equal. You lost refrigerant in one side, you lost refrigerant in the other side.
You heard the hissing from one side, because some pressure left in there, but not much.
When I pushed the valve on my car with the system fully charged, it is a loud hissing, with refrigerant sprayed every where, wasn't just a weak hissing.

I'm having a problem with my AC again. It's an electrical problem this time.
I already know where the problem is. I asked the question on another forum to be sure.

Good luck with your.
