help please i dont know what it could be? i will try to explain. the car runs fine. when i get to where im going,once i turned the key to shut off the engine i forgot to put the car in park and took the key out . buy luck i was in the car when it rolled. i dont think it should be that way. so what do u think it could be please let me know

Bad/worn ignition cylinder lock.

 

but the key wont come out with the car running. the lock cyclinder is less than a year old. so what do u think

 

Is your shifter cable and bushings in good condition? Perhaps something there is worn or out of spec that is allowing you to do that. Can't think of anything else besides those two things.
