something wrong with my transmission?
Well seems i have a small leak in my tranny somewhere taking it into the dealership on sat. But there is one thing that has been bugging me for a little while with the car. When i shift from any gear i hear a loud whining sound coming from the transmission before i actually shifts. Is that a normal thing for it? Its a 2003 dodge sx with 60000km on it. The leak also seems to be coming from the top of the tranny.
Today is my first day on the site. I was looking for just ways to clean up thew look of the car. I come across your thread and I have to say my 02 es has 59,961 miles on it. We replaced the engine less then 8,000 miles. Now the trans is starting to go. It seems like its shifter at a higher rpm then it should. Ithink there is a problem with nen trannies after 01 it seems.
ahh ok yeah i'm begining to thing i have gremlins in my engine lol. I went back to mr lube because it was leaking from the pan again or so it looked like. So they did it and when i got out of there everytime the overdrive would kick in i'd have a problem slowing down. Whenever it hit 40 you'd hear 2 big clunks like the torque converter had a hard time disengaging. After a week of it doing that its now stopped doing that lol. Have no idea why it would just act up like that for a short period of time.
