i have a 2000 neon with auto trans, can anybody send me a pic of location of the back up light switch, or tell me the location of it I AM STUMPED

It could be in the transmission.Sometimes it's together with the neutral start switch.If you pull the switch out it may have 3 terminals the centre one grounds the starter solinoid circuit when the trans. is in PARK or NEUTRAL.The outer terminals are the back-up light switch.

the tansmission mount is bad i changed it. the transmission shifted and cut the wire. fixed the wire so far so good thanx for ur help,tschay
