I was wondering what is the most common problem with 2005 dated Neons sxt 2.0L when this code shows after my engine light came on. I also wanted to know if I already got my car diagnostic and the scanner read that code do I have to pay for another since it doesn't really pin point the exact problem?? From what I've researched it could be multiple sources. I have a smog due in a few days. Thanks.

 

check to make sure your fuel filler cap is on good, this is the most common problem for this code. did you just fill up your tank before it came on?

 

I believe that night i filled up my gas tank but even after I got it reset by the mechanic reset it came back on, I tried tightening it. Should I manually reset it and try again?
