Hello, new to this forum and tried searching the site with no success (probably because I don't know much about cars, and I'm not sure what I'm looking for).

Anyways, I encountered this problem earlier this morning. Whenever I would hit 2100 rpms on my manual transmission 2004 Dodge neon 2.0, it sounds and feels like it wants to die out and I would be forced to shift up to the next gear to lower the rpm and stop this rocking motion from happening. Any ideas on what the problem would be? Needs a tune-up?
