DIY CAI Throttle Body Brackets?
my neon has an Iceman CAI installed by prev. owner (My brother).
instead of using the brackets that seem to come with most CAI kits, he enlarged the hole @ the input end of the factory airbox, and ran the intake through it. (looked stock with the hood up - might have been trying to sneak it through smog inspections, IDK.)
so i want to take the airbox out of the equation, but would need to find/fab up some kind of support brackets for the Throttle Body. something similar to what you see in the linked K&N install sheet, parts c&d on the diagram, and steps 15-19.

suggestions? i have mostly basic hand tools. the only power stuff would be a drill, Dremel, and a jig saw. fairly comfortable with wood work, not as much with metal, but i can learn.
