Default Adding Cruise Control, Need Help With Parts

I am adding cruise control to my car, I know which parts I need. The main question I am having is about parts interchangeability as I am scavenging them all from the junk yard and there never seem to be Neon's with cruise control there.

What i am specifically wondering about right at this very moment has to do with the "Speed Control Switch" (the switch on the steering wheel that turns cruise on and off) and the clockspring.

are they interchangeable with the ones from the PT Cruisers? they look exactly the same on diagrams, and in person at the junkyard, I just have no idea if they actually are.

Is there anyone here who has tried this or has the ability to give me a definitive answer?

Many thanks

:edit: Ps. I have an 03 SE that would take the lever style switch, not the button style from the 00-02

No. They use different resistor values. I actually have a lever switch that I won't be using if you're interested.

As for the parts interchangeability, the clocksprings are unfortunately not interchangeable. However, the servo motor is. Check the wires near your condenser (by the firewall). There might be a plug there, If so, your Neon is already pre-wired for cruise.

Thanks. I have one of those very "Special" Neon's that doesn't come pre-wired for anything. I know from experience after hand wiring my Trunk Light, Power Deck lid Latch, Glove box lamp/switch, Lighted Vanity Mirrors and the reading lamp style rear view mirror. I've become intimately familiar with my cars lack of wiring.

PM me with how much you want for the lever switch, I'm interested.

all i can say is good luck to you sir.
i've inquired about this project a few times, First back in early '11, when the kit was still available, dealer quoted $380 installed.(then i had an unexpected dental bill pop up for roughly the same money). then this past spring, i called them again, kit no longer available, just finding the parts, was over $500. without installation.
