Default Got me a Sebring

Well, it's time for a new car. I'm going in Thursday to sign papers for a 2007 Sebring. My Neon is fun to drive, but I need something sturdier than this. I'll check in from time to time, but I probably won't be back on here much.

-I love mine! I have a 2010 Sebring Touring witht he 2.4L in it. Went to Myrtle Beach last week and got great mileage from it. Fill up where I live, about 12 miles South of the Pro Football hall of Fame. We stayed overnight in Asheboro, NC and still had over 1/4 tank. Filled it up the next morning and it came out to 39.199 mpg. On the trip home it was lower. Going up the mountains most of the way with the a/c on, and I got just under 33 mpg. I usually average around 31/32 mpg with a 50/50 mix of driving to work every week. I've had it for a year and a half and I still don't regret buying it. Hope you like yours as much...

L8R,
Matt

Well, mine is the gas guzzling 3.5L unfortunately. I haven't driven it on the highway yet, but in the city I get about 20 MPG, which isn't bad in my book. Then again, I have to use 89 octane, so I don't know if it's worth it.

20 MPG! Man, the old '94 Tempo that I sent to the boneyard when I got my Sebring got just a little better than that. And it had something like 236k on it. You could try a tank of 87 octane and see if it starts knocking when accelerating. If it doesn't, then you should be fine with that.

Matt

Like I said. 20mpg city isn't that bad. I do drive a little heavy footed too. I want to see how the highway mpg is.
