power steering

Default power steering

i have a 2002 dodge neon and the power steering fluid is always leaking. the leaks are in the front of the car. do i need a new power steering pump. it is very hard to turn and there is never any fluid where the you put the power steering fluid at. help please!!!!

couple places to check, return rubber lines to the reservoir can have cracks, lines to rack an pinion, pressure sensor on rack & pinion can be leaking as well. Most are easy fixes

and don't use power steering fluid. these cars use ATF+4 in the power steering system.
