Hi .Iam new here..I just bought a 03 Neon sx 2.0...Car is in great shape..motor and tranny are solid.The problem iam having is when driving,you can feel a slight tug on the steering wheel and the car either veers to the right or to the left..Took it out on the highway today and man it was a handfull to try to keep it steady.I checked tire pressure,all 4 were good.My question is...is it the rack and pinion or something else?.......Any or suggestions would be appericated

 

Is the car aligned?

 

the car does pull to the left........i,ve never driven a car that acts like this.....it almost seems like the rack and pinion is wore out and there is slack.The steering in super touchy.When i got home,i put the car in park,,got out and moved the steering wheel and watched the tire,there is no slack at all...the wheel moves with the steering wheel.Iam going to make an appointment to get it aligned tomorrow.
