Over 200,000km on my neon so its safe to say im due for new struts.

Any particular brand superior to others, if so why? Smoothness of the ride is the biggest importance for me, its just dd.

Smoothest ride = OEM or OEM equivalent. Probably something like Monroe or KYB struts, or whatever brand your parts store carries.

Struts

I just purchased KYB struts and mounts from RockAuto.com and they were a lot cheaper than the local stores! I am changing mine this weekend as well as lower ball joints.
