Default Missing License Plate Light

Hello after a few years gone,
I still have my 2005 Dodge Neon SXT

I recently was rear ended in an accident and had my rear body under the trunk door replaced. A few weeks after I got it back from the shop, someone pointed out that my rear license plate was not visible at night. I took a closer look, although the fact I never even noticed where my license plate lights were didnt help. Above the license plate and below the trunk opening is a cavity with nothin g in it. No light, no socket or wires.
I checked my haynes repair manual and I dont see anything about this light.
Now, if it's cheap enough, I may trying to fix this myself. But i must ask, in case I need to take it back to the shop

Does the license plate light exist in a 2005 Dodge Neon?
Where is it located?
What is the light assembly that is apparently missing called?

If this was recent, that light should have been replaced by the shop (or reinstalled, in case it is just dangling under the new bumper cover somewhere). I'd start with talking to the shop.

...and yes, there is a license plate light on a Neon, and every other car made in the past several decades. It's a requirement.
