First time post. just bought a 2001 Neon R/t and just trying to work through a few issues.
1) Right when it kicks over, it revs up fine, but then when it settles in to idle it almost stalls and actually has a couple times. But it only dips for a few seconds then idles fine between 500-1000.
2) During acceleration and at constant speed it will "hiccup" every once in awhile.

i was originally thinking fuel delivery. i.e. fuel filter. but i'm seeing that it is more than likely the ignition side ( coil pack, wires, and plugs) the wires and coil pack look somewhat new and i have plugs to put in anyway. P.O. stated the serpentine belt went while on the highway. had the belt, water pump, and power steering pump replaced. Anything else i should worry about?

Thoughts on whether it's fuel system or ingnition system?
