Washer fluid pump comes on w/ lights
I was wondering if anybody has run into this problem?
Got a 2003 Dodge Neon SXT, 4-cyl. Automatic trans, etc.
I was leaving for work today and when I turned my lights on, my washer pump started cycling and spraying, non-stop. Shut lights off, it stops. Turn lights back on, washers start to spray.
Are they both on the same relay/fuse or is it a multi-function switch issue and is it something relatively easy for me to fix myself, or should I take it into the dealership???
I was just going to disconnect the power to the washer pump but am I opening myself up to other problems that I'm unaware of?
Any advice/solutions would be very appreciated.

Thank you! I've had others tell me the same thing. I have a steering wheel puller so I'll try swapping it out. Will I throw a code by disconnecting the airbag?
The electrical system should be completely drained before you start and everything will all be hooked back up before you reconnect the battery, so unless something gets broken during the process, you shouldn't have a code
