Question How to make lights blink on car?

In case of needing to pull over due to a problem, I know I'm to setup lights to blink for other cars to notice me. How exactly is this done? Or what is it called so I can look for it?

Thanks guys,

JDL

They are called hazzard flashers and there should be a button somewhere with a big triangle in that turns them on. Not sure where it is on a Neon. Do you have an owners manual? Those are very good reference manuals for general vehicle operation questions like this. Did you ever take drivers ed?

jkeaton, thanks for the info.
I found that button with the triangle. I was lucky enough to have just the time I needed to look into my manual, in the emergency section. In most cases my problem is not whether I have the tools or not but whether I have the time or not. Sometimes posting a question here is all the time I have And thanks God for that!

Btw, talking about this button... approx how long before my battery drains out? I hope is over 4 hours.

Depends on how big the battery is, battery condition and so on. They should stay on for awhile though...
