Engine NOISE?
Hi,
I have a 2005 Dodge Neon sxt with a 2.0 Liter engine.
My question is this:
When I'm driving down the road or even in park and I accelerate the vehicle I hear a weird noise coming from the engine it just started this morning. I thought it was an exhaust leak but upon further inspection it is NOT an exhaust leak. I change all my fluids at regular intervals and the timing belt with all the goodie extras like water pump and new belts and engine mounts.
It's hard to describe the noise it makes it's sounds almost like and exhaust leak, but it stops when it hits the highest gear or from what I can hear anyways. It's not a LOUD slap or bang or knock either, so I'm running out of answers and does not do it in idle.
What could this be?
