I bought a 2002 r/t recently that is in dire need of strut work. someone lowered it at one point and now since i bought it every little bump or pothole sounds like a loud bang. I wanted to reuse the springs on new struts which i have done before with my other neon. I am worried about my ride height. I have a 2003 sxt i dropped 1in and it clears my shop rails this 02 doesnt. its about an 1in or so too low. i was wondering if replaced the struts if it would affect the ride height enough to clear the rails. and honestly I dont know how low of a drop it is. it doesnt sit much lower than my 03 and the only thing hitting is the k frame when i first try pulling it in.
