Automatic transmission. Was jerking and bucking badly - got code P0765 shift solenoid D. Swapped out the transmission solenoid package and speed sensors (input and output) with new ones. Flushed and replaced the transmission fluid.

It still bucks but I've noticed that when I move the shifter from Drive to 3rd gear the bucking stops. Seems that overdrive is causing the issue. Any ideas what it can be? Thanks for your help!

 

Big mistake flushing that transmission. Look forward to further problems because of it.

What is the mileage on it? do you notice the RPM's jumping around?

Overdrive could be worn out. Do abuse the car often or take it easy with it?

Also did you change the transmission filter? Even though its not a Dodge I had an Pontiac Grand Prix that did this mostly up hills though and changed the filter and she was fine after.
