I have a 2000 Plymouth Neon and when I went to change the PCV valve I ran into something a little strange. Instead of the PCV valve screwing straight into the valve cover, mine has a metal insert seemingly molded into the valve cover that the pcv valve screws into. Well, the metal insert has come loose from the valve cover. When I tried to unscrew the pcv valve, the metal insert just turned inside the valve cover. I was able to finally get it all out, change the valve and put back in, but I'm concerned that the metal insert will not stay in the valve cover. Has anyone else seen anything like this on a Neon before or had this happen before? Thanks for your help.
