So, my '03 Neon SE will always have the "DOOR" (door ajar) light and dome light on while the engine is running, and while it's not running it'll give up after about 10-15 minutes. This light only reacts to the driver's door, all other 3 don't trigger the light after it goes out. Is there any way to fix this? I'm not quite sure where the door light switches are, and I've heard they're in the door latch mechanism. How would I go about repairing it on my own, if possible?

 

door jam switch, you can lube it/adjust it, but usually needs a new one
