My car was put on a trailer the other day using a winch. It slipped and completely tore off my headlight and blinker wiring on the passenger side of the car. It also tore of a wire to my air conditioning, but everything else works. I cannot afford to take it to a shop. My idea was to install new sockets and run new wiring straight to the fuse panel where it ends. I don't understand some of the symbols on a wiring diagram and there is no key in the Chilton's as to what they all mean. If anybody knows anything, please enlighten me.

ouch! Id not worry about the symbols you will be able to re-splice it all together as the wires are color coded, maybe dirty just use a wet cloth to wipe an show the wire stripes. the a/c wire thats ripped off can be a bugger as you may have to solder it to the tabs if the connectors broken an cant find a replacement. Did it rip the entire wire harness in half on that side?
