so, I just installed an AEM cold air intake on my 2000 neon last night. I had disconnected the negative battery terminal as I knew I would be unplugging and moving sensors. upon starting the car up when I was finished, I got a engine code p1193 and the battery light was on. im pretty sure the engine code is due to the intake doing its job, (more air going to the engine than the AIT sensor says is supposed to) but what is really concerning me is the battery light, does anyone know why I would get this light? btw I had the batt and alternator tested they both tested good. thanks!

 

Did you remove and forget to reinstall an engine ground?
