Hi All,
I have a 2001 (December) Neon RT. It is a five speed manual. On way home, I suddenly had no 3rd gear. 1st, 2nd, 4th and 5th gears work fine. Car goes into 3rd gear, but its like you have put the car in neutral and then tried to pull away. Any ideas?

Hello,
Nope, it goes into 3rd as though everything was normal. you don't know there is a roblem til you bring clutch up and accelerate! Its odd that all other gears work. Is a synchronizer expensive. The car has only done 36k!
