Default 2005 sxt, manual: Any one know what these are ?

the rubber bushing is gone on the second one. is this for the transmission or clutch ? im troubleshooting the clutch not disengaging.the reservoir for fluid for the clutch was empty, after refilling it and not detecting leaks in the engine bay, clutch still wont disengage. i think the master cylinder is broken i looked under the pedal and can see parts hanging off not looking right plus clutch feels okay kinda still has resistance . i have the repair manual from here, what section is it in dnt know the name.

Thanks

Took the airbox and batter/plate off to get to these they are on top of the transmission

That's the shifter cable. If you're looking for a quick fix, you can cut a short piece of rubber fuel hose to use in place of the bushing, then a flat washer and "hair pin" on top of that.

Get a set of these:
http://www.boogerracing.com/boogerbushings.html
They'll last the life of the car, they're cheaper than oem, and they'll give it a far better feel when shifting.

Default Thanks guys

Yea i ended up seeing a video for an issue and saw a guy mentioned they where shift links and i got the bushings from doorman on rockauto. It stopped the play i had on the shifter. i did not take the center console out even the kit came with a third bushing that looked liked in belonged under there but meh.
I did see the booger bushings to much money for a to b car.

Booger Bushings for the cable on the transmission end are $12 shipped, and they'll probably outlast the car. I'd have to imagine you paid more buying from RockAuto. Maybe next time, if that time comes

This is part of my ongoing project with this thing after working my way through how the shifting and clutch I replaced master and slave cylinder.

After watching some vid i noticed that my car dint have the bracket that this guy had on his car ? links below

my pic is first and i linked the guys video with the starting point on his slave cylinder

2nd is that little plastic part okay is it possibly not allowing to push the pin all the way back ? does it fit in a specific part of the fork . was really hard to move 8(
