I don't know alot about cars, but I know enough to get by. My ex fiance was the one who had worked on my car but we are not on speaking terms right now. About 7 months ago, he put a cold air intake on my 2000 neon. I'm not really sure what brand or where he got it from. I was just wondering how often should I change the filter? Should I just blow it off with an air hose? If you could give me some tips that would be great. Thanks!

 

Most of those now are a K&N or copy cat type that needs cleaning and oiling every so often. You don't need to do it until it gets pretty dirty.

 

I believe my AEM CAI is also K&N. I have one of these for my intake to clean.
