Looking at at manual 2004 dodge neon Sxt with about 150,000 miles on it and thinking about doing an srt-4 swap. I have a couple questions like can I use the PT cruiser turbo 4 cylinder motor for the swap, and what things would I need to purchase along with the motor to swap this. Also how well do the manual transmissions for the dodge neons hold up if I were going to upgrade the clutch. Thanks for any advice guys!

 

You can use a PT turbo engine, but you'd have to pick up the SRT4 intake manifold. Either way, for either option, you need a PCM/harness/keys all from the same vehicle. Might have to mess with the exhaust too. You can also do a standalone PCM system, but that's a whole 'nother thing.
