03,SE 5 speed manual. The car slips out of 5th gear occasionally. 3rd gear is hard to engage at times. There is also a rattle like something is in the trans. Any suggestions before I tear it apart to try and figure out what's going on?

 

Suggestions? See if there are any TCM codes first that might tell you where the problem is.
