Hello Dodge forum, new user here. I'm gage and drive an 05' Neon SXT. I had a couple questions about new wheels tires. So right now I have the aluminum 15x6 10 spoke wheels on with the oem size 185/60r15 tires. I want to upgrade (if that's what would be the appropriate term) to 16". I had in mind, the Drifz holeshot (303mb) 16x7 wheel. Rather dead set on them actually, and my question was when I upgrade to those wheels, a. What should I expect for a new tire size, and b. Are there any special steps i need to take to change the wheels/tires? Your help is greatly appreciated. I suppose it should also be noted I want to make the tires more low profile, like a 50. Is that possible within acceptable/reasonable modification.

 

You can go 195/50-16 or 205/50-16. I would recommend dropping by a tire dealer like discount tire and have a chat with them about it as well. The wheels will need to have the appropriate backspacing and offset to eliminate any issues.
