RE: Radio- no sound
The radio works, fuses look good. BUT, no sound now, sound did come out Before. The unit works as fas as the display, but JUST no sound. IDK maybe some wiring or something, but no sound is coming out of all the speakers.
Nothing else as far as aftermarket, but would the factory amp cause this?

Yeah, i didn't know if there was a factory amp. Ok here is the deal. It worked previously, sounds & display. NOW it has no sound. Did NO changes after it was put in, to the time it quit and stopped putting out sound.
I guess I can just check the wires in the back and make sure one didn't come loose.
Other than that I don't know.

If its wired right it should work. On some radios the amp is powered from the constant 12V yellow wire and the display and such are from the red Acc wire. Do your presets stay when you turn the key off? Take a meter and check to see that you have power to the radio. Other than that if its wired right and you have power to all the wires to the radio I'd say you blew the amp or all you speakers went at once.

RE: Radio- no sound
I dont know if any generation Neon got the Infinity sound setup, but I do know that typically when all the speakers quit working at once....it's usually one of three things....the head unit...the fuses....or the pre-amp.
Since you already eliminated the fuses.....then that only leaves two things..
If you are getting power to the head unit, then I would start by checking the pre-amp. Typically, these are located in the passenger side kickpanel. Also, taking a power meter like Casper suggested and applying it to the pre-amp and the radio is a great idea.
If you can't figure it out, it's probably best to have a professional look at it.
Good luck!!! Hope this helps
