Hello everyone I installed a remote start on my 2002 neon that also has passive lock/unlock and push button start and when I connected the locks and it would unlock but not lock then I seen post saying I needed a resistor on the lock and unlock signal so I did that and the lock side still did not work then I noticed that the lock side of the factory door switch did not work either so I checked the door switch and it is working but will not lock the doors pass side is the same however the factory key fob will lock/unlock Im afraid I killed the bcm anyone have any ideas thanks

Might be helpful to know which remote start product you installed.

Were all the door locks working ok Before the installation?

Maybe use, borrow or come by a ELM scan tool & run a diagnostic software that's able to access the body conroller on the viewing device of your choice & have it scan all of the vehicle computer / controllers for trouble code clues & post All code Numbers, as they can often help focus a trouble shoot. Some beginning thoughts for consideration, let us know what you find.
