Default Quick wheel question

I've got my hands on a set of rims from a 2001 PT and i need new rubber of course(PT's tires are taller tires). I just want to make sure that I'm not goin to have any issues w/ spacing... rubbing ect. I'd like to know before I go ahead and order my 205/45R16's. Thanks fellas

here's a chart that might be able to help you decide: http://www.federaltire.com/TireTips-C.htm

I'm not sure which tires you had on your car before, but you can look it up on these charts.

Those are more of a 1st gen diameter (23.3"), and a 205/50R16 comes in at 24.1", which is a little taller than stock for a 2nd gen. Either size isn't going to throw off the speedo that much, and if it's a stock wheel (40mm offset), it shouldn't rub on the rear trailing arms like it might on a 1st gen... y'all got the bent ones for an extra 1/2" of clearance...

Best of luck!

I've done the math... 205/45-16 is actually a little shorter than the 185/60-15's, I'm just wondering on the offset and such. thanks.
