Head Light Cleaning Tips
hey all i have got a bunch of dirt on the inside of my headlight it looks like and i was wondering if anyone had ever taken apart the headlights on a 2000 es sedan. if so i also wanted to darken the housings and was wondering what the easiest way of doing that would be. holla at me
From what I've gathered, the stock headlights don't come apart very easily. I know with aftermarket headlights you can heat them up and pull them apart, but from what I understand the stock ones use a different glue so they are very hard to take apart. I haven't tried to take the stock ones apart, but thats just what I've gathered from searching. I'm wanting to one day make a set of projectors myself using stock or stocklike headlight housings with either TSX or S2000 projectors. I've seen it done and it looks sick.
Yea i know they make ill halos for the 1st gens. im thinking bout getting old lights off a 2nd gen and taking the halos from aftermarket 1 gens and customized something. let me know if u work it out. lata
You can pick up a brand new set of headlights and signals for around $140, thats probally the best way to go. You can buff and clean them up, but new is a lot easier and not that expensive.
