Hello all. I have a question about a 2.0 non turbo set; the lady needed a new water pump but waited to long to do it. When I got the car here, there was water in #3 cylinder. So I told her hopefully just a head gasket(plus water pump). So I got head off and I’m not sure about what I’m seeing, either some ports between the cylinders(on the head) were purposely closed off or got that way from over heating? There are 3 b b sized holes that I started to pick open. I stopped when I saw the cracks between the valves, but I’m sure interested in knowing if they just got like that or not? I will try to post pics, I’m also looking for a used head being this is a charity case, she got 200 to spend and best deal I can find is 260 for a rebuilt without a cam.
