I see no replies & you've likely found the problem by now but I'll see if I can get things started. Use your scan-tool, code reader, or parts store to scan for codes, or cycle the ignition switch from Off to On (but don't crank the engine), 3 times, stopping at On the third time & view the dash info or mileage display while the vehicle ECM puts up any trouble code clues. Post All code Numbers, as they can help focus a trouble-shoot.

If your still in doubt about the coil packs, most autoparts stores can & will bench test them at no cost.

Some beginning thoughts for consideration, let us know what you find, or have since found.

Default Yes and no

I used my old coil pack and the codes went away so really I don’t know but codes from the code reader pretty much pushed me back to they were bad

Ok good feedback on reinstalling the OEM coil-pack & having the codes take a hike. I don't follow MSD product history, but having worked in the electronic industry 37 years, MSD doesn't likely make their own coil-packs & if contracted for & made overseas, one has to wonder to what QA specification, so there is that variable. It's possible if those two coils were made at the same time, the factory may have had a process, or material problem that QA missed. All speculation on my part.
