i have a 2005 neon with about 6000 miles and i have a whining noise coming from the top front of the motor.. anyone else have this problem.. im also getting about 17mpg.. the only mod i have is a magnaflow dual exhaust for a g35. i dont think that could kill my gas mileage... my wife drives it and i was thinking that she was gettin on it all the time but then i thought maybe that whining noise has something to do with it... it a automatic trans and it takes like 11 seconds to get to 60mph.. is that normal?.. it has a srt4 appearance pakage with 17 in rims... but not the engine... the dealer told me my insurance would skyrocket if i got a real srt4 and i belived him... then found out it would go up $20 a months.. they wouldnt take it back either
