i have a 2002 automatic sxt neon. and recently when i jump on the gas and floor it from a stop. my brake light makes a ding, and stays on for like 15 seconds when the wheels spin. it seems weird because im not using the e-brake at all and im not even holding the brakes and reving it up to do a "launch" it just seems werid, i thought maybe it was a sensor but i have never used the e-brake recently so its not like it stuck and it only does it after i spin from a stop

top of your brake fluid and that should solve your broblem

2 things i would do is 1.) top off your brake fluid.... its a warning chime for low brake fluid as well as brake light 2.) check the pads on your neon while your checking the fluid. I decided to change my pads as well after topping off the brake fluid... havent had the light since.
