Default suspension upgrades

does anyone of any good suspension upgrades for an '01? i was gifted some coilover springs but need some shocks to go with them. there is so much out there i don't know what to get. also what else should i upgrade to bring my stock suspension up to the rt/acr level? i've already found a rear sway bar and am in the process of looking for wheels and tires, too.

you can get some eibach prolines and get away for while(1-2years) without doing struts. But you would maybe need struts for a rear sway bar because some base cars have perches too mount them on and some don't so cross your fingers

i've also been having a hard time finding a strut tower bar for the rear end.....seems like no one thought to design something for the early model 2nd gens (i can find them for the 1st gens and the 03+'s). Also, does it make a difference whether you get the tower bar or sway bar? i've been told they pretty much do the same thing....tighten up the back end. finally, i'm looking at some 16x7 rims to put on after all this snow melts and have been told that a wider tire can improve drivability/handling/cornering.....is that valid?

to anyone thinking of putting the jet chips or power controllers in their cars....DO IT! i know my car isn't much to look at but it has helped tremendously. gas mileage has improved (mine are all hi way miles), not to mention acceleration/shifting (mines an atx) is smoother.

yep wider tires will improve handling
btw the only diff between r/t and base is the rear sway suspension wise
the acr is whole different moster it has adjustuble struts
