LED Replacement Bulbs
Greetings,
I'm looking to replace some of the stock bulbs in my 02 SXT with LED's from superbrightleds.com. I plan to replace the front amber signal/parking bulb, and rear signal/brake/parking bulb. I read that some times you might nead a load resistor kit and/or a LED flasher unit, because on some cars, it might cause a problem with the LED's and turn signals. Any advice on this matter would be appreciated, and if I do need the LED flasher unit, is it a 2 or 3 pin unit for my 02 SXT.
And finally, I searched all over the place, do any of you know which festoon LED I would need to order for my 02 SXT for the dome light.
Thanks very much for any answers and comments.

Hey guru's out there, no comments about LED's as replacement bulbs. I really did a search on the forum, and didn't find any information. Even if I don't hear from any of you, I may order them, and I'll let all of you know how they worked out.
I have LEDs practically everywhere on my car. Well...I did. I still have a bunch. But I started to get problems when I had them them in my turn signals. It worked fine for awhile and then one day things went haywire. It blew out my multistick...aka no turn signals. I didn't have brake lights and it kept blowing fuses all the time. I had to get a new multistick. That fixed the turn signals, but it still kept blowing fuses left and right. So I finally put the stock bulbs in the tail lights and that seems to have fixed my problem. I do have blinkers that flash twice as fast as stock...but you can still tell when I use my blinkers so thats what matters. If you want to use them all over the place it would probably be wise to get a heavy duty flasher. Which one...I don't know. You'd probably have to go to someplace like Napa and ask for one and tell them its going on a neon. Maybe that will help you out.
I had LEDS in the front turn signals, I have LEDS in the dash and in my boost gauge. No problems at all.
The only reason you would need a resistor is because they flash too fast.
Or if your replacing the turn signals both front and rear, they'll cancel one another out and blink normally.
I used 3157 12-LED bulbs for the front turns and they fit fine.

So are you saying that if I do get LED's I should make sure that I use them in the front turn signals and rear turn signals, and then I won't have the fast blinking problem? That would be great, although lowslowneon's comments concern me. I don't want to break what is already working fine.
Again, I thought that replacing all of the exterior bulbs would be a nice touch, especially the front turn signal and rear turn signal(which is also the parking and brake light) with the LED's that have 25 bulbs in them.
I'm still thinking about it.

When I did both the front and rear blinkers it did blink normally like LSP stated. It worked fine for awhile. Then one day out of the blue my turn signals quit working. Which is when my multistick blew out and I started to have problems.
