I ve got a 2003 Dodge Neon SE, a car we got for my girlfriend to drive and me to mess around with. The rear left wheel locked up on it today, tried beating on the drum, pulling the ebrake up and down, the adjustment star inside is locked solid cant move it, and the drum ont come off I dont know whats next, proly the shop. Anyway my question is, i want to do a power window and power lock conversion to it, any good how to sites or kits that anyone has tried. I am just tinkering with the though of doing it, To much more crap with this drum and a disk conversion will be goin too, lol, well thanks I am new to this forum but it looks pretty cool. Later

 

sorry about the wheel locking up on u there, but as far as the lock window conversion goes, it's not that bad, i pulled the internals from a wrecked sxt and bolted it all up, car is more or less prewired for it.

 

As for the wheel locked up, bang the drum with a big hammer, thats all a shop is gonna do. I would replace the slave cylinder and get a return spring kit. The power windows and lock, just get it from the junkyard. Just grab all the switchs, motors, and wiring. Should not cost you more than $150.
