Default hood scoop

ok i was wondering...
is this the same hood scoop that is on the srt4
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/SILVE...spagenameZWDVW

and next, how hard would it be to take an unused scoop like that and place it on the hood and like puddy it on the hood then paint over it, i wouldnt care if it had air go in or not.
could someone tell me how hard and how you would do that?

i wouldnt deal with those tape on scoops.. i mean i guess they give you the look. but to me a scoop has a purpose. of letting the engine breathe more through better cooler air entering the scoop coolin under the hoods overall temp.......and look at the rating..96??. i mean. if your gonna do the hold scoop taped on appraoch..(especially on ebay). atleast get one from a decent rating seller...atleast 98%..99/100 preferably......i always try to consider those negative feedbacks.. could be you.. just a rookie speakin with an opinion..u can always verify with the real experts...

this is not the same scoop found on the SRT-4. The SRT doesn't really have a scoop, it's more of a dent in the hood and doesn't stick out like this one does. This looks more like the scoop found on the SRT-10. On top of that, this is not a functional scoop, meaning that it doesn't actually feed air into your engine bay. This is just an ornament that makes your car look tougher. It's not worth it. If you want performance, you pay for performance. It's not all that hard to do, but it can be hard to make it look seamless. You'll probably put putty on your hood and spend hours shaving it down so that it looks really good. After that, you'll have to paint your entire hood so that it looks like one piece. If you paint just the area where the putty and hood scoop are, you'll probably have a line where the old paint has faded a little bit.

In my opinion, I'd say get a whole new hood with a REAL hood scoop, you'll at least benefit from it. With that e-bay scoop, it'll probably give your car excess drag and slow you down more than anything.
