Everyone knows that there is a newer software release for 03 neons that cam out in late 04, but to have the pcm flashed with the new software the dealer is gonna charge for it, my dealer is charging $80.
In other words to fix the sorry programming and lack of quality assurance that they put into the pcm, It's going to cost the consumer even more.

the problem with the software is noticable when you turn on your a/c or defroster and your car kinda hits like and internal speed bump, or when the car doesn't "like" to start when it's super cold outside (kinda like the rx-8 when it first came out) If it's really bad the car can backfire and misfire because of it. Their is a bigger list of stuff that would be fixed with this over on alpar's website
