Does anyone know if the 2.0 sohc engine on my 2000 neon is the same as the 2.0 engine on a 2000 dodge stratus? Thanks. Juan.

It's essentially the same engine. The only possible difference would be the EGR system. It's rumored (never seen it personally) that some of the 2nd gen Neons had an EGR setup. No idea if the Stratus did or not. Not a big deal though, and easy to fix one way or the other...

The accessory brackets may be different as well (for power steering, a/c, alternator, etc.). So take a good look at them ahead of time, and swap over you Neon brackets if needed. Same might go for some of the sensors.

Shouldn't be a problem at all.
