Does anyonehappen to know if a turbo Eclipse/Talon engine and trans will fit into a neon? If so does anyone know where online I can get one? Or if anyone knows where I can get a SRT engine?

Yes, the Talon/Eclipse motors will fit in a Neon. Why you would waste your time with it I cant honestly understand.

As for the SRT-4 motor, try any junkyard in your area. You want one that's been totalled out due to an accident, not from water damage or storm damage. You'll need the transmission, motor, wiring and computer for the car. You also might as well snag the gauges and anything else you might want.

Your honest best bet is to try to purchase the junked car outright. It would probably be cheaper then buying all the parts. There's been a couple of junked SRT-4's posted on here that people have seen going for like 2500-4000k at junkyards outright. It's just something to consider....and prices will vary depending on where you live.

As for online, I couldnt tell ya, except maybe eBaY.

 

i know some one that has a repoed eclipise all wheel drive, it would be alot of work to swap everything but it would deff. be cool to have an AWD neon, let me know if you are interested, the car is in many of peices but looks sweet and would be a cool car if anyone is interested
