Well im new here and didnt know if this was already asked. anyways i got an 05 neon sxt and i want the srt4 motor in it instead. i was wondering if the motor mounts matched up or if i would have to fabricate up some to make it fit and what other mods would be needed for the engine swap. any infor will help

the srt4 has one more motor mount but the others will fit. u just need the srt one

 

The dealership gave me an estimate to swap motors for 12,000. I was just curious at the time, for that price you might as well buy a used one and have two cars. You know what I'm talking about!!!

 

well the dealer is gonna rip u off beyond compare if you swap it urself u can do it 4 as cheap as $4000
