okay i have a 2003 neon sxt and i have owen it for since 2004 and about every 7 or 8 months this codes come on P0441 (M) Evap Purge Flow Monitor Insufficient or excessive vapor flow detected duirng evaporative emission system operation.... I get it reset everytime and its fine for another half year. the one time it came on at the dealership, they said it was a performence error and that it could be any thing and that it would be up to 400 dollars+ to find out and fix it. what causes this code and is there any way to fix it? any ideas why it works fine for so many months then acts up? maybe a bad sensor?

 

Keep the gas cap tight. Or you could have a bad gas cap. There is a check valve inside that allows venting and some go bad.
