What do you think? Apparently you don't know... The only difference between speaker wire and regular wire is that speaker wire is shielded as the regular wire is not. Answers your question? YOU CAN

one of my friends said this

ok in the big harness running down the steering columb you'll need the pink/black wire. Thats your constant power. your ignition wire. Its a dark blue. and your ur adding starter kill the yellow wire. these wires are a heavy gauge wire. bigger than the rest. the power is like a 10 gauge wire the rest maybe a 12 gauge except the starter, starter wire in that car is a 14 gauge wire i think. anyway in that same harness theres a black yellow wire. thats your parking light wire.

For the door trigger use the yellow in the drivers kick panel. or maybe tap a dome or under dash light.
For the trunk pin you gonna ahve to tap the wire at the light in the trunk and run it to the alarm.
If you hooking up a trunk release, you need to take the upper dash off, and grab the wire at the keyless module. it needs to be 5-wired, so your going to need to use a relay, or you'll blow the module up.

when he says you need replays, what exactly are those?
and what does he mean you'll blow up your module?

HAHA. Way to make yourself look like a dick. If he knew he wouldn't have asked. I don't suppose you've never had a question that was stupid to someone else did you? No...never.

relays are kinda like a switch in a box...if you look in the fuse box in the engine compartment there are some in there, little black cubes that have like 5 prongs sticking out the bottom......if you use speaker wire then you shouldnt use anything smaller then maybe 14 gauge...
